We source and vet creative professionals in Brazil for US agencies. You hire directly. You pay us only if you keep them.
What's missing is a way in — a network on the ground, and someone who can tell a strong portfolio from a well-packaged one.
We hired a firm once to find us a designer. They ran a clean process and had no idea what good design looked like. That is why And55 exists.
Sourcing, portfolio review, structured interview, one-pager, shortlist, introduction.
Your contract, your payroll, your tools, your management. No intermediary in the relationship.
Directly, from day one. They never pay us anything — we absorb the sourcing cost.
The person who takes your brief is the person who briefs the candidate. Nobody forwards a portfolio they can't read.
Takes the brief, runs the call with the company, and closes. Also advises agencies on commercial strategy when they ask.
Evaluates every candidate — track record, craft, and whether the profile fits what you described. Runs the And55 operation.
Manages projects and keeps the company responsive. Makes first contact with new clients and curates candidates with Bruno.
Advises on how the business is run and opens the doors — the network that brings both the roles and the people.
Same questions, same order, scoring anchors written before the call. It removes interviewer bias and it makes "good" mean the same thing in January and in June.
Quality of the work, against what the role actually demands.
Can they explain a decision — and defend it without getting defensive?
What they do when told they're wrong. Our best single predictor.
Do they finish, or hand it back the moment it gets ambiguous?
Tested live, against the level the role needs. Never assumed.
Anonymised below. The real ones carry name, portfolio and a recorded intro.
Takes a two-line brief and comes back with something that didn't need a second round.
Framer, Webflow and WordPress, plus React when the project calls for it.
Identities that survive contact with a real product team — guidelines people apply without asking.
Live client calls, workshops, presenting work to your client.
Calls with your team, written feedback, day-to-day collaboration.
Briefs, docs and async. Will struggle in a live call — and plenty of roles never need one.
If it's outside this list, we say so. We don't send people we can't judge.
No discovery call, no onboarding, no scoping phase. Send the role and we come back with people.
Role, seniority, range, time-zone overlap, and how much live English it really needs.
Our base first, then the network — schools, courses, communities, instructors.
Portfolio reviewed by a partner, then the structured interview and the scorecard.
Two to four people, one page each, weak points included.
A hire starts as a paid 30-day trial. A project starts as the project.
JD lands Monday, role is mostly async, no live client calls. Friday they have three profiles with recorded intros and stated weak points. They start a paid 30-day trial with one — and keep her.
GMT-3 gives roughly six hours of overlap with Eastern and four with Pacific. Same-day feedback loops, no overnight handoffs, no 3am standups.
No retainer and no subscription. During the trial you pay the professional their agreed rate — and nothing to us.
You close a 30-day package directly with the professional and pay them for it. We broker scope, rate and expectations. And55 charges nothing at this stage.
A month of real output, real communication, real overlap — not an interview impression. If it isn't right, you stop and owe us nothing.
50% of their first month's salary, once. A professional at USD 4,000/month means a USD 2,000 fee. Then we stay on — for the next role, or to replace this one.
A project often runs shorter than thirty days — some are done in a week. The project itself is the test.
Per engagement, capped at one year. A USD 5,000 project means a USD 500 fee.
Sourcing, screening and the full structured interview
A one-pager per candidate, weak points stated
Negotiation of the trial or the project scope
Support through the first month, both sides
A replacement search if the fit changes later
Zero cost to the professional, always
You pay the professional directly for the 30-day trial. If you keep them, you pay And55 once — 50% of their first month's salary. The professional never pays us anything.
During the trial you stop and owe us nothing — you've paid the professional for the work delivered that month, and that's it. If it breaks months later, tell us and we run the replacement search.
That's your call and your paperwork. Most US agencies engage them as independent contractors, paid in USD. We don't employ anyone, run payroll or act as an employer of record.
Nothing. There's no retainer, no engagement fee and no cost to see candidates. The first money that changes hands is you paying the professional for the trial.
Five business days from brief to shortlist, for the disciplines we cover. If your role sits outside them, we'll tell you on day one rather than take the brief.
Yes. Projects skip the trial — many finish inside a month. The fee is 10% of the project value you close, per engagement, capped at one year.
That's negotiated in the trial package, and we broker it. Full-time exclusivity is common; if the person is freelancing in parallel, you'll know before you start.
The JD, the range, and how much live English it really needs. Two to four people in five business days.
Free to join, always. We come to you when a role fits.
